Giant Stride into Digital Innovation: AAU Ekpoma Inaugurates 73 ICT Coordinators

Ambrose Alli University (AAU) Ekpoma achieved a significant milestone on March 20, 2025, with the inauguration of 73 newly appointed ICT Coordinators. The event, held at the Vice Chancellor's Conference Room, marked a major step toward digital innovation and excellence.
Acting Vice Chancellor Prof. Sunday Olowo Samuel commended Acting Director of ICT Dr. O.M. Iniaghe for his commitment to transforming AAU's ICT operations. Prof. Samuel acknowledged Dr. Iniaghe's efforts in establishing an ICT-driven system, aligning with the university's vision.
Dr. Iniaghe emphasized the critical role of ICT Coordinators in ensuring a seamless digital transition. He outlined their responsibilities:

- Overseeing the Integrated Result Management System (IRMS) to enhance result processing, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and accountability.
- Implementing the Learning Management System (LMS) when deployed.
- Facilitating student access to NELFUND.
- Supporting TETFUND ICT interventions.
- Driving innovation and digital transformation across faculties and departments.
The event was attended by Director of Academic Planning Prof. Mrs. E.O. Omoregie, Director of Physical Planning Engr. Jerry Akhigbe, and Head of Information and Public Relations Otunba Mike Aladenika.

The formal presentation of 59 departmental and 14 faculty ICT Coordinators to the Acting Vice Chancellor marked a significant milestone in AAU Ekpoma's journey toward efficiency, transparency, and academic excellence.
