Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria Inducts 204 AAU Ekpoma Graduates

The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) on Thursday, 20th March 2025, inducted 204 graduates of Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma's Nursing Science Department into the nursing profession. This milestone event marked the 7th batch of the 2021/2022 set of qualified nurses.
In his address, Acting Vice Chancellor Prof. Sunday Olowo Samuel expressed gratitude to Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, for his unprecedented support to the University. "The governor has been instrumental in helping us address the challenges facing our students," he said.
Prof. Samuel encouraged the graduate inductees to be good ambassadors of the institution and contribute to the growth of Nigeria's healthcare system.
The Registrar/CEO of NMCN, NR.DR. Al-Hassan Ndagi, represented by Deputy Registrar Emmanuel Udontre, urged the new nurses to exhibit high standards of care and professionalism in their duties.
The 204 newly inducted graduate nurses acknowledged the contributions of their parents, instructors, AAU management, and the state government with a collective bow.
