Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma's Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sunday Olowo Samuel, has praised Governor Monday Okpebholo's support for the university's systemic growth. Speaking at the induction ceremony for 810 graduate nurses, Prof. Olowo Samuel attributed the university's progress to the governor's favorable disposition.
He expressed gratitude to Governor Okpebholo for resolving crises at the College of Medicine and creating a conducive environment for teaching and learning. The Acting Vice-Chancellor highlighted notable achievements, including:
- Uninterrupted academic calendar
- Promotions of senior lecturers to professors and associate professors
- Payment of the new minimum wage to staff members
Prof. Olowo Samuel assured stakeholders that the university is committed to providing leadership that would take the institution to greater heights. He thanked the governor for his unwavering commitment and expressed optimism about the university's future, citing the support of the governor and the Governing Council.
