Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, recently welcomed 6,457 new students at its 42nd matriculation ceremony for the 2024/2025 academic year.
The Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sunday Olowo Samuel, assured the students that the university would provide an enabling environment for learning, allowing them to graduate in record time.
Prof. Samuel emphasized the university's commitment to training students in both character and learning, enabling them to contribute to Nigeria's growth and development.
He warned that the university has zero tolerance for sharp practices, cultism, and other anti-social behaviors, and that any student exhibiting such behavior would face disciplinary action.

He also appreciated the Governing Council, led by Chief Dan Osi Orbih, for providing direction, and assured students that the university's management, senate, and staff were committed to supporting their learning process.
In his welcoming words, Prof. Samuel advised the students to focus on their studies and be good ambassadors of their families.
