The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma, Chief Dan Osi Orbih, has been commended for providing quality leadership to the council and the university. This commendation was contained in a statement issued by the leadership of the Ambrose Alli University Alumni Association, Lagos State Chapter, signed by its Public Relations Officer, Rufus Alele.
The Alumni Association described the Dan Orbih-led Governing Council as unique and focused, which has helped to grow the university. According to the statement, "When a man like Chief Dan Osi Orbih, the current Chairman of the Governing Council, is not just doing the work expected of him, but going far above and beyond the call of duty in a way that truly deserves to be acknowledged, celebrated, and deeply appreciated."
The statement highlighted Chief Orbih's leadership style, which prioritizes peace, reconciliation, academic integrity, staff welfare, and student support services. "One example that stands tall in his record is the way he prioritized peace and reconciliation among the various stakeholders... knowing fully well that a university cannot move forward when there is disunity, misunderstanding, or bitterness."
The Alumni Association's Public Relations Officer, Rufus Alele, praised Chief Orbih's leadership, saying, "I have witnessed a lot of leadership styles, but the one Chief Dan Orbih has brought to the Governing Council is both humble and firm, visionary and practical."
The statement concluded by commending Chief Orbih's leadership and calling on all AAU lovers to support the Council and celebrate the new dawn in the university's history.
