ORBHIH CONGRATULATES OGBEIDE-IHAMA ON APC EDO SOUTH SENATORIAL TICKET, HAILS ENDURING POLITICAL FRIENDSHIP

The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Chief Dan Osi Orbih, has congratulated Rt. Hon. Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama on his emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the forthcoming Edo South Senatorial District election.
In a personally signed congratulatory message, Chief Orbih described Ogbeide-Ihama’s emergence as a significant milestone in his political journey and wished him success as he prepares for the electoral contest.
Reflecting on their long-standing relationship, Orbih recalled knowing Ogbeide-Ihama from his undergraduate days as a Civil Engineering student at the University of Benin and expressed pride in his remarkable growth across the engineering profession, corporate management, public service and politics.
According to the AAU Pro-Chancellor, he had closely followed and, at various stages, mentored Ogbeide-Ihama’s political development, noting that their association had produced several notable political victories founded on sincerity, mutual respect and understanding.
Chief Orbih observed that although they now belong to different political parties and remain committed to the ideals of their respective platforms, their enduring personal relationship has remained intact.He stressed that genuine friendships and mutual respect can transcend political affiliations, serving as an example of civility and goodwill in Nigeria’s democratic process.
Offering prayers for the APC candidate, Orbih asked God to grant Ogbeide-Ihama wisdom, guidance, strength and protection as he seeks to represent the people of Edo South Senatorial District and contribute to the development of Edo State.
